Diane HoseyDiane Hosey (President) is the principal and founder of Numina Consulting, a leadership development firm. She has been in organizational development for 18 years, with current clients such as Nokia Americas, First American, NetHawk and others. She has a broad and varied experience in training and development, coaching, instructional design, as well as HR strategy and culture alignment. One of her areas of expertise is working with and enhancing the skills of women leaders and the development of professional women networks. She served on the board and is a former president for The Bridge Breast Network where she won the Macys Heart and Soul Award for community work. A 20-year breast cancer survivor, she remains committed and active in the fight for a cure for breast cancer and breast cancer awareness. An actress, writer and activist, Diane is proud to be a part of Today Marks the Beginning and looks forward to advancing our mission of social justice through art and promises to bring energy and humor to all she does.

Barbara MillerDr. Barbara Miller (Vice President, Secretary) is a dentist and the Executive Director of Recruitment and Admissions for Baylor College of Dentistry. As a life-long student of the arts, she has studied ballet, jazz and modern dance, portrait and figure drawing, screenwriting, and the Meisner method of acting. Barbara is a member of the Kesheth Dancers, a liturgical dance ensemble, participating in worship services in the Metroplex, across Texas and around the world. Barbara lives in Dallas with her husband, Amp. They have two intelligent, artistic, athletic, and above-average children.

Carol PaceCarol Pace (Treasurer) is a Senior Accounting Manager for Capgemini Energy LLP. After a successful career in medical technology at Baylor University Medical Center, she re-educated and received a Master of Science degree in accounting from The University of North Texas. Carol has worked as a corporate accountant in Dallas since 1990 and served as a not-for-profit board member and treasurer. She is an avid supporter of animal concerns and lives in Rowlett with her partner and feline companions.

Karen BlessenKaren Blessen (Past President) is an award winning freelance artist and writer who was the first graphic artist to be named a winner of the Pulitzer Prize. She traveled to Africa as a member of the HIV/AIDS Leadership Council of the international relief organization Save the Children, and has worked on varied projects, including art and design for a railway station and adjacent park in Dallas and acting as a confetti engineer during the milennium celebrations in Times Square. Peace One Day, a children's book published by G.P.Putnam's Sons, in which Karen collaborated with Jeremy Gilley, founder of World Peace Day, will be released in August 2005. Julie DavisJulie Davis (Board Member) is co-owner and operator of Breakers … a coffeehouse and more and owner of a new business ABreakAway Catering and Supplies. Julie is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Law. One of Julie’s several accomplishments include winning Best Appellate Brief, which is published in the Pace University Environmental Law Review, and being invited to present her research at the International Domestic Violence conference. In her spare time, Julie has taught herself how to do carpentry and electrical work.

Erin DuffyErin Duffy (Board Member) Erin Duffy is a native of Ingleside, IL and loves the process of learning how to fit into her Texas cowboy boots. She is a campus minister at the Catholic Student Center at SMU, and fills her days with social justice work in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood, talking with students and leading small groups about living life with faith, hope and love. Some of the things that makes her Erin are: teaching a classroom full of fifth graders for three years, being a sister to Ryan, Sean, Mikey, Meg and Caity, going to Wash.U. in St. Louis and the U. of our Lady (Notre Dame), loving Jesus and Ghandi, always dancing, writing about life, being on the lookout for ways to grow, and having friends like her mom and dad. Lou MichaelsLou Michaels (Board Member) is Italian through and through. Her given name is Louisa Maria Ippolito. She loves food, family, fashion, friends and the arts with equal passion. She works in the media as a talent coach for news anchors and reporters all across the U.S. Lou also steps to the other side of the camera to coach executives in handling media interviews and news conferences. She is married to the very talented John S. Davies, an actor, director and teacher. They will celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary October. She has two wonderful adult stepsons who have taught her more than she could have imagined 20 years ago. Lou was a past President of Women In Film Dallas and was an accomplished actor and teacher for over twenty years. She has been active in politics and social issues since the fourth grade when she held parades for John F. Kennedy's election in her little hometown of Abingdon, Illinois.

Donette MorrisDonette Morris (Board Member) has spent the last 22 years traveling the world as a Flight Attendant for American Airlines. She has been honored with six Professional Flight Attendant Awards and an induction into the Flight Attendant Hall of Fame. Donette is also co-owner and founder of Events 3, an event planning organization that has had the privilege of coordinating a wide variety of high profile special events. Her deep interests in nutrition and wellness have led her to work with USANA Health Sciences through Team Northrup, a group inspired by the work of Dr. Christiane Northrup. This work allows her to promote the link between financial, physical and emotional health while on the journey to attaining vibrant health for herself and teaching others to do the same. Though her interests are varied, her biggest accomplishment to date has been finding her husband Doug and bringing life to two year old daughter, Audrey Elizabeth.
