Lou Michaels

Lou Michaels has a passion for the arts and their necessity for a thriving community and a meaningful life. She works in the media as a talent coach for news anchors and reporters all across the U.S. Lou also steps to the other side of the camera to coach executives, professional thletes and others in handling media interviews and news conferences. She is married to the very talented John S. Davies, an actor, director and teacher. She has two wonderful adult stepsons who have taught her more than she could have imagined 20 years ago. Plus an angel baby grand daughter with a grandson on the way. Lou served on the board for many years and was a past President of Women In Film Dallas.  She also has worked on the boards of Artists Helping Artists and DES Action. In her previous career Lou, was an accomplished actor and teacher for over twenty years. She has been active in politics and social issues since the fourth grade when she held parades for John F. Kennedy's election in her little hometown of Abingdon, Illinois.
